Present health care practices and a lack of cultural rituals leave families virtually unsupported at this important time in
their lives. There is a great deal of evidence suggesting that quality support can ease the transition that comes with the
addition of a baby to the family. By educating; attending to the needs of the parents, infant and children; and by offering
quality referral information, the postpartum doula can ease and enhance the postpartum experience. Every family can
benefit from the support and encouragement offered by a doula during the fourth trimester.

Those who are able to pay at the top tier are making it possible for me to serve up to five mothers a year who otherwise couldn’t afford this service. May God reward you.
What a Visit Looks Like
We’ll choose a time that works well for you—ideally when things are relatively calm at home. If you have someone available to help with the baby during your session or while you're receiving a treatment, that can be helpful, but it's absolutely not required.
I’ll arrive with everything needed for the services we’ve planned, and together we’ll decide what to focus on and in what order. Each visit is flexible—we flow with the energy of the day, adjusting our plan as needed to support you best in that moment.
Visits have a minimum time commitment of 2 hours, allowing space for a meaningful pace and personalized care.
